What are Custom Buttons?

Custom Buttons enhance your chat experience by providing clickable options that make it easier for users to:

  • Choose from predefined options
  • Navigate to specific pages or resources
  • Trigger actions without typing
  • Provide quick yes/no responses
  • Access common features instantly

Creating Custom Buttons

  1. Go to your agent's Actions tab
  2. Enable "Custom Button" action
  3. Click "Add New Button"
  4. Configure button properties:
    • Button label (what users see)
    • Button action (URL, message, or custom action)
    • Button style (color, size)
    • When to show the button
  5. Test in the Playground
  6. Save and publish

Best Practices

  • Limit to 3-4 buttons per message to avoid overwhelming users
